Robertson Acupuncture is owned and operated by Maharlika Robertson, L.Ac, MSTOM. Maharlika is licensed to practice acupuncture in New York and Arizona.
She earned her Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. Traditional Oriental Medicine is the combined practice of acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tuina medical massage, and nutrition therapy. Her education from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine consisted of over 3000 hours of comprehensive and hands-on clinical and theoretical training, including western medicine. Maharlika is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY) and is also Clean Needle Technique Certified (CCAOM).
Maharlika's educational backgroud is in veterinary medicine from the University of Arizona, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences. She also owned, managed, and operated 3 Assisted Living facilities which housed the elderly community and those with chronic illness.
She takes a holistic approach to health and practices integrative medicine. She is dedicated to treating the person, not just the disease. Her practice focuses mainly on gynecological issues, mental-emotional health, and pain management.
Cancellation Policy: Services are by appointment only. Please contact us at least 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We enforce a strict cancellation policy and you will be charged a $50 fee for your scheduled appointment time if cancellation or rescheduling is less then 24 hours. Thank you for your understanding.
Payment Methods: Payments may be made in cash, personal check, credit or debit cards.
*The above rates are considered "Date of service- paid in full" discounted fees for those who are not using any health insurance networks.
Health Insurance: Robertson Acupuncture is considered an "in-network" provider for CareMore and an "out-of-network" service provider for Aetna,Cigna,Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Healthcare.
